Psalm 112:1 KJV says, “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.”
Psalm 112:7-8 KJV says, “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.”
The man who trust in the Lord isn’t focused on what is happening in the natural realm. He is more dominated by what God has spoken unto him, then by what his circumstances are telling him. Trusting in the Lord requires us to look beyond our natural circumstances and believe that what God has spoken to us will come to pass. The heart of the man who trust in the Lord is established in the Word of God.
2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT says, “So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”
Our heart is like a magnifying glass, whatever we focus on with our heart we make bigger. Whatever we focus on will influence our thoughts, will, and emotions. If we focus on our problems we will experience fear, anxiety, and worry. But if we focus on the Word of God we can experience peace and joy in the midst of bad circumstances. our problems really aren’t our problem, our problem is our lack of trust in God.
Isaiah 26:3 KJV says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
Those who keep their focus on God during good and bad circumstances are those who trust in God. When we keep our mind fixed of the Word and Spirit of God that is a sign that we trust in God. In contrary, when we try to figure out a solution for our problems and on top of that we begin to worry, that is a sign that we lack trust in God. Every problem that we will ever face the Lord has a solution for it and He is able to work all things together for good.
Romans 8:28 KJV says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Look to God today for guidance, wisdom, healing, and deliverance. He knows exactly what you need and is willing to work strong on your behalf as you put your trust in Him!
